RxSource, a Canadian leader in clinical trial supply services, made a strategic decision to relocate from its Secaucus site to a much larger facility in West Deptford, New Jersey. The new location, which is seven times the size of the previous site, was chosen after careful evaluation of facilities across the nation. While considering options, RxSource found that regions in the West and South faced significant risks from extreme weather and had unreliable power grids. Although Central and Eastern locations had fewer risks, they were limited in availability and often came with much higher costs.
By choosing to remain in New Jersey, facilitated by Choose New Jersey, RxSource not only expanded its U.S. footprint by an additional 50,000 square feet but also increased its capacity to meet the growing demand from clients. This expansion is expected to create numerous local jobs, enhancing the economic landscape of West Deptford and solidifying New Jersey’s position as a vital hub for clinical trial support services.
