Made Scientific, a leading U.S.-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has selected New Jersey as the home for its new flagship cell therapy manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters. The 60,000 sq. ft. GMP facility in Plainsboro Township is equipped with state-of-the-art cleanrooms, in-house quality control labs, and advanced digital systems, enabling rapid, compliant production from clinical trials to commercial scale. Backed by an initial $12 million investment, the project will create more than 100 high-quality jobs and strengthen New Jersey’s reputation as a global life sciences hub.

An additional 12,000 sq. ft. GMP expansion was recently announced, designed to meet U.S. FDA and EU Annex 1 standards and significantly increase late-stage and commercial manufacturing capacity. By expanding in New Jersey, a prime location for driving innovation in cell and gene therapy production, Made Scientific gains access to a highly skilled workforce, proximity to top research institutions, and a thriving biomanufacturing ecosystem.

Further expanding its New Jersey footprint, Made Scientific also operates in Newark, where it houses its workforce development and training center and clinical production facility. Through continued investments in infrastructure, people, processes, and systems, Made Scientific remains focused on its mission: Defy Limits.
