Choose New Jersey Issues Request for Information for Concierge Services to Support Highly-Skilled Immigrants Seeking Employment in State 

Arrival Concierge Services Include Housing Support, English Language Services, and Employment Assistance for Legal Immigrants

Newark, New Jersey – New Jersey’s leading nonprofit business attraction organization, Choose New Jersey, has released a Request for Information (RFI) from qualified vendors for Concierge Services for recently-arrived, highly-skilled, professional, technical, and globally-mobile legal immigrants. This first-in-the-nation service will facilitate a smooth transition for highly-skilled legal immigrants to New Jersey by offering assistance with critical services outside of traditional immigration advocacy and legal advice.

As New Jersey’s immigrant population grows, so does its skilled workforce. The state’s foreign-born residents comprise more than 24 percent of the population and 29 percent of its labor force, making up more than $85 billion in spending power. One-third of New Jersey business owners are immigrants, generating over $4 billion in revenue.

Choose New Jersey’s Arrival Concierge Services will gather information on available services and best practices to build on the strong momentum of international business expansion in New Jersey. This information will be made available to highly-skilled, professional, technical, and globally-mobile legal immigrants looking to move to New Jersey in an effort to ease their transition.

The RFI can be found here. Vendors will be expected to provide concierge services including, but not limited to:

• Housing support
• English language services
• Employment assistance
• Cultural orientation
• Essential activities related to settlement

The RFI does not include immigration attorney services or specific visa advocacy. The vendor will work to provide services and support offered by Choose New Jersey both in-state and through its international offices in India, the Asia Pacific, Europe, Israel, and Ireland.

Vendors interested in responding to this RFI should submit their information electronically by March 7, 2025.
