Under the terms of the MOU, the institutions will seek to promote collaboration through student, academic, and administrative exchanges, study abroad programs, double degrees, exchanges of publications and reports, joint research activities, and the organization of academic conferences and seminars, in addition to joint organization of special technical or administrative programs.
The agreement will provide access to information, guidance, training, and educational resources designed to promote the labor rights of Mexican workers in New Jersey.
Wesley Mathews will depart as President and CEO in December to assume a new leadership role outside the organization. Mathews has served as President and CEO since February 2022.

The six-day, four-city mission, held September 19-24, included meetings in New Delhi, Kochi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai and was attended by Governor Phil Murphy, First Lady Tammy Murphy, Choose New Jersey, and a delegation of New Jersey leaders from government, business, and academia.
The agreement, which Governor Phil Murphy signed as a witness, fosters academic and cultural collaboration between the two institutions in the field of health care.
