Governor Murphy, First Lady Tammy Murphy, and the New Jersey delegation visited Cambridge Biomedical Campus to observe cutting-edge biomedical research in the UK. As one of Europe’s leading health research hubs, the campus offers valuable opportunities for collaboration to advance healthcare in New Jersey.
They also toured the West Cambridge Innovation District, a planned hub for high-tech business and research. There, the Governor and First Lady reinforced New Jersey’s commitment to fostering global partnerships in technology and research.

The discussion was an opportunity to showcase the latest in the state, including the Princeton AI Hub, Strategic Innovation Centers, and growing innovation economy. Governor Murphy, First Lady Tammy Murphy, and the New Jersey Delegation attended the U.S. Veterans Day Ceremony at the Cambridge American Cemetery, where Governor Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy participated in a wreath-laying ceremony. They were escorted by Angel Matos, Superintendent of the American Battle Monuments Commission, who served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. “As we gather on this hallowed ground, we are reminded that each one of us bears a solemn responsibility… to defend peace and freedom in our time,” said Governor Murphy. “It is a responsibility that has been passed down to us by the thousands of men and women who sacrificed everything… in the hopes that we would inherit a world in which liberty and justice are guaranteed to all.” The deeply moving ceremony underscored the enduring bond between New Jersey and its military personnel, paying tribute to their courage, sacrifice, and the lasting impact of their legacy.
