First Lady Tammy Murphy Visits Le Cordon Bleu to Witness Agreement Signing Between Sookmyung Women’s University and Stockton University

Seoul, South Korea — First Lady Tammy Murphy witnessed the signing of two agreements between Stockton University and Sookmyung Women’s University at the Le Cordon Bleu campus. As a Le Cordon Bleu graduate, the First Lady commended the agreements which establish a joint study abroad program and a student exchange program. As the first royal private educational institution for women, the visit highlights the impact of the First Lady’s contributions to international conversations on education, women’s rights and gender equity. The First Lady also met with Yunkeum Chang, President of Sookmyung Women’s University, and senior alumni Sunrye Kim and toured Le Cordon Bleu under the Division of Culture, Tourism & Hospitality Management. President of Stockton University Joe Bertolino also gave remarks about the partnership Stockton University hopes to forge with Sookmyung Women’s University.
